VANITY OF A GODLESS LIFE

Life, when lived for itself without God has no meaning. such life is an empty repetition without eternal purpose. The book of Ecclesiastes is ascribed to Solomon, the wisest and richest king of Israel. After he had seen and experienced wealth and riches, power and prestige, he concluded that everything is vanity. He concluded his reflection by pointing out that the whole duty of man is to fear God and keep his commandments" (Eccl 12:13). A life that is Godless seems like a person chasing after the wind.
Such a person can build the biggest houses, buy the best cars and achieve the highest ever imaginable.
But without God,everything ends at once, including the person. The point is that we are not here on earth just to acquire riches and popularity. The catechism of the catholic church says God made us to love him, serve him in this world and be happy with him in the next. We are created for communion and fellowship with God.We are created to fill the earth with the praise of God and make him known everywhere.

Whenever we are operating outside of God's plan for us, we are doing something that is vain.
Where are you right now? Is God there? Is God in those things you are doing? Where have you diverted your passion? In what things are you engrossed? if God is not involved, it means you are doing something futile.
When we exclude God from something we are trying to achieve, then we are chasing after the wind. With all the material acquisition, ideologies, positions, philosophies, if there is no God, you have wasted your life. you have invested wrongly. This is an opportunity for us to evaluate our motivations and interests. where we find ourselves missing out on God's plan for our lives, let us retrace our steps.
