HE KNOWS

Is your heart broken? Are you weighed down by the troubles of life? Are you overburdened with a load of cares? Is your body tearing out with sickness and your spirit injected with discouragement? The lord is close. you look behind and it seems you are alone. There are challenges around you. Hold on, the lord is close. in the midst of those storms, dare to see Jesus. your heart is broken? What has broken your heart? The bible says "by sorrow of the heart, the spirit is broken." are there occasions of sorrow around you that have crept into your heart?your God is strong enough to handle that sorrow. Is it the sorrow for sins and mistakes?your heart is broken in repentance? God is aware of this.God is aware of your worries.God is aware of those secrets you have not told anyone. Many are the trials of the just person, but the lord will deliver them from them all.your trials will not kill you. your God will give you a wing like an eagle to fly.
If God is close to you,it is because he wants to save you.he wants to deliver you.there are temptations you must pass through because you are a christian. there are people that will hate you because of what you profess.but from all these God will see you through. he will not allow your enemies to rejoice over you.this is meant to encourage you.just bear it in mind that God is close to you.

THE TRUTH ABOUT LOVE.

Love is a word that is so common on the lips of people. it is the most commonly used but the least understood. people say they love when they don't. people use love when they mean something different. What is love? Look at the definition Paul gave,"love is patient, love is kind.it does not envy,it does not boast,it is not proud.it is not rude,it is not self seeking,it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth.it  always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres"
love comes from God because God is love. A person who loves God becomes a loving person. it is not possible to love God and hate people around.why?when you love God, you take on the very nature of  God which is love and begin to behave like God. how does God behave? God loves people.love for people is the greatest evidence of our love for God.love proves to the people that we know God and that we are people of the spirit.it is the best proof that we are spiritually minded and that we are keeping the word of God.
A person who does not love does not know God,"by this ,men will know that you are my disciples,if you love one another."(Jn 13:35) .if you want to find out whether a person is a child of God,look at their love life,"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from your heart"

HIS MERCY NEVER ENDS.

A young boy dabbled into cultism in the university, because he wanted power and protection.
the cultism exposed him to all kinds of waywardness. he killed people and did all kinds of notorious things. it happened one day that his cult and another cult had a clash and he was the target for the other cult. When he discovered his life was in danger, he took to his heels. He ran away from the school to his uncle's house in Lagos, there he accepted Jesus and began a new life. The first time, the priest told him he could be forgiven, he did not believe because he thought he was too sinful to be forgiven but soon, he discovered that God is full mercy and forgiveness,he gives people opportunities to right their wrongs. in john 8:1-11.
A woman was caught in a sin of sexual immorality, whose consequence was death by stoning. they took her to Jesus, but Jesus set her free and gave her a second chance. Our God is a god of second chances.
anytime a person comes back to God with a repentant heart, God receives them back and offers them a second opportunity to begin anew. God does not condemn you ,don't be discouraged by the nature of your sin.Just be sincere about your decision to change

How fast can life become? How much can we do in the corporeal amount of time we have. There are only 24 hours in the day, but we’re trying to fit 26 hours into it. If we could watch a movie of our average day we’d probably be amazed at all the things we try to do. And then there is the exact opposite.

Some of us spend our lives watching others doing and achieving, and from these images we build such high expectations of our own life, and then sit around feeling utterly powerless in our attempts to meet these expectations. That powerlessness becomes hopelessness and hopelessness becomes
depression. If we can just see this process and release these expectations. If we can at least be detached from any expectations, we will get back some of our inner power and self motivation.
It helps to stop watching others and their lifestyles, especially in the media, and then comparing yourself to them. It helps to eliminate all but one ‘I wish’ from your mind. There is only one valid and useful
‘I wish’ and it is simply “I wish to be me”. For that is all you can ever be. It is all you can ever have. It is all that you are. And when you know it, you will be free of all expectation and desire, and able to

enter the most relaxed state of being, at will.

Make Someone Laugh

A group of students went on excursion to Boti waterfalls.

They so had a wonderful time they did not realize when night came so they had to stay overnight to travel the next day.

Unfortunately for them there were no enough rooms to accommodate them so they had to be paired. Emekus was unfortunately paired with Sister Bola, a Deeper life christian.

At bed time Sister Bola was fully clothed, tied her scarf and used the pillows to divide the bed into two and slept on one side facing the wall. On seeing this Emekus knew there was nothing for him and resigned himself to his fate.

On the journey back to school following morning, rain was threatening and a windstorm was blowing. Sister Bola's scarf was blown away to rest on a tree top. The team leader ordered the driver to stop so Sister Bola's scarf can be rescued.
He nominated Emekus to go climb the tree and fetch the scarf being her roommate. Sister Bola seriously objected to this saying how can someone that couldn't climb ordinary pillow, climb a tree...lol

What is maturity?

1. Maturity is when you stop trying to change others ...instead focus on changing yourself.
2. Maturity is when you accept and enjoy other people as they are, at their level of understanding.
3. Maturity is when you understand that your ideas are not always the best.
4. Maturity is when you learn to "let go".
5. Maturity is when you are able to drop "expectations" from a relationship and give for the sake of giving.
6. Maturity is when you understand whatever you do, you do for your own peace.
7. Maturity is when you stop proving to the world, how intelligent you are.
8. Maturity is appropriating that your opinion in any matter isn't always required.
9. Maturity is when you don't seek approval from others.
10. Maturity is when you stop comparing with others.
11. Maturity is when you are at peace with yourself.
12. Maturity is when you understand that you cannot and shouldn't always do/get what you want.
13. You gain Maturity when you stop attaching "happiness" to material things.
14. Maturity is responsibility.
15. Maturity is when you are content and satisfied with your life and yet aspiring to be better everyday.

DON'T FALL BEHIND.

Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.
During the press conference to announce NOKIA being acquired by Microsoft, Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”. Upon saying that, all his management team, himself included, teared sadly.
Nokia has been a respectable company. They didn’t do anything wrong in their business, however, the world changed too fast. Their opponents were too powerful.
They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing, and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big. Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money, they lost their chance of survival.
The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall be removed from the competition.
It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things. However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with time, you will be eliminated.
Conclusion:
1. The advantage you have yesterday, will be replaced by the trends of tomorrow. You don’t have to do anything wrong, as long as your competitors catch the wave and do it RIGHT, you can lose out and fail.
To change and improve yourself is giving yourself a second chance. To be forced by others to change, is like being discarded.
Those who refuse to learn & improve, will definitely one day become redundant & not relevant to the industry. They will learn the lesson in a hard & expensive way!

Just for the day ahead

SELF APPRAISAL....

A little boy went into a drug store, reached for a soda cartonand pulled it over to the telephone. He climbed onto the carton so that he could reach the buttons on the phone andproceeded to punch in seven digits (phone numbers). The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation.Boy: ‘Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?Woman: (at the other end of the phone line): ‘I already have someone to cut my lawn.’Boy: ‘Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price of the person who cuts your lawn now.’Woman: I’m very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting my lawn.Boy: (with more perseverance): ‘Lady, I’ll even sweep your curb and your sidewalk, so on Sunday you will have the prettiest lawn in all of Palm beach, Florida.’Woman: No, thank you. With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.Store Owner: ‘Son… I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job.’Boy: ‘No thanks.’Store Owner: But you were really pleading for one.Boy: No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the Job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!’Moral: This is what we call ‘Self Appraisal’.Every time if we don’t get ahead of others, we blame others for it. We should look to our self and compare, find own weaknesses and work hard to throw away weaknesses. Always work hard, honest and with full dedication. It will always pay up.

Linda Ikeji speaks....Motivates young Nigerian women

I HAVE NEVER…NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE SLEPT WITH A MAN FOR MONEY, Linda Ikeji writes young girlsMy name is Linda Ikeji. I’m a blogger. I’m 35 years old and I have never…never ever in my life slept with a man for money. Not only have I never done it, I have never even consider it…and here I am with a house that cost me over half a billion naira.Listen, you are beautiful and you are stronger than you know. There’s absolutely nothing you can’t achieve if you set your mind to it, put her heart and soul into it. Up until five years ago, I was a struggling entrepreneur. I can’t tell you how many offices in this Lagos I sat in for hours waiting to see people who could support my business…but most times, I never passed the reception area. But I never gave up and I never stopped believing and here I am today. You too can be this..you can be better than this. No dream is too big, no dream is too small, no mountain is too high…it’s all in your mind. It’s all up to you. If you believe in you, in your God who is guiding you, then the sky is your starting point. Please stop waiting around for a man to give to you…to put food on your table and put clothes on your back. I promise you, you can do it for yourself. Start thinking big, believe in yourself, be creative and start working. Realize that your dreams are valid…and nobody will make your dreams cometrue except you. Find what you are good at. Find somethingthat you are passionate about. Work hard at it. Be consistent. Be patient. Start young. Even if you’re not young, it’s never too late!I have been hustling since I left secondary school..startedmodeling before I entered university in 1998. Was running amodeling agency even while I was a student and made it a full time business after I left university. I never doubted that I would succeed one day, because I was determined. And please do not think this happened over night. I’ve been blogging since 2006…November this year will make it exactly 9 years. God, consistency and hard work brought me here today.Unfortunately, a lot of our young girls aren’t patient and some are lazy, they want it quick and fast but it doesn’t work like that. Success takes time – takes hard work – takes passion – takes consistency – but more than anything else, it takes the Grace of God.I was a 30 year old broke woman and on my birthday, a very sad and depressed me turned to God and begged him. I told Him you promised me, when will You fulfill Your promise? Am I not Your child? Have I not lived according to Your teachings? When will You bless me? Please God help me…and with tears in my eyes, I begged Him. I cried and I begged and I begged and I begged. A few months later my life changed. Never underestimate God’s love for you and the power of prayer. And never stop working. Listen, I make enough money to hire so many people to work on this blog while I go do otherthings and enjoy myself…but I don’t do that. I’m up while some of you are sleeping, and already blogging before some of you wake up. I don’t take this for granted. I know tostay on top, I have to constantly work and nobody will be asdedicated as I am because this is not their own thing. It’s mine and I have to keep feeding it. So I’m constantly here!Young ladies, I promise you…you too can do this. You don’t need to spread your legs for any bladdy man – because of how much? N200k? That’s how much my shoes cost – so why you should give up your body for that? Your sacred body? God’s temple? 200k that you can make in a week or even in a day if you pursue your dreams and still have your dignity intact? You think people don’t see that you’re messing around with all dem old married men and talking about it? Think ladies, think! When next a man propositions you…tell him to get lost, that you will get yours yourself! Abi,aren’t you a woman? You know what they say about women? “A woman is like a tea bag, you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water.”. You are so strong, you don’t even know! Also, if you want God to bless you, you have to have a cleanheart. All these backbiting, hating on others, trying to bring people down with hateful words, action etc – God doesn’t like ugly. He has over 6 billion people to look after and you think he will pay extra attention to you if your heart is ugly? Wish people well, help people when you can. Be good to others. But more than anything else be good to yourself. Believe in yourself. It’s very easy to give in to feelings of self-doubt and back down when things get tough, but you have to know that God will not give you anything you can’t handle.I swear to you, you are underestimatingyourself. If you know the power that you have inside. If you know the things that you are capable of. If you know how far you cango…how high you can reach but you are holding yourself back because you’re afraid of failing, because you don’t think you have it in you. If only you know that you’re stronger than you think. You are so powerful, you don’t even know it. I’m not more special than you are. I don’t havetwo heads. We serve the same God. Why can’t you succeed? Think ladies, think.Like Barack Obama’s sister said, poverty is not an excuse! I used to sell/market beer at Sheraton hotel, Lagos when I was in university for N1,000 a day. I once lived on ‘puff puff’ and garri for weeks in UNILAG and I was supposedly a top model but nobody knew what I was going through. Trust me, I know poverty. Did you know I lived in Idi-oro, Mushin for 15 years? Up until when I was 25? Did you live in Mushin? Eh, so what’s your excuse? I can’t even say some things here for my family’s privacy but here I am today because I never doubted myself and I never allowed all the doubters to distract me. I was focused. I was determined. I worked hard and I knew the God I served won’t let me down. The road was long, sometimes very frustrating and painful but look at me now. God did it because he saw that Iwas willing!“Because I am a woman, I must make unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, “She doesn’t have what it takes.” They will say, “Women don’t have what it takes.”Please believe in yourself and watch God use you to set as an example for others.May all your dreams come true!Kisses.Oh by the way (addressing the argument I read online this weekend) I don’t do anything else. I blog from 4am till midnight, where do I have time to do anything else? When God wants to bless you, He will bless you…even if you’re selling toothpick.

THE TRUTH SERVED "RAW"....

I saw this question on one page:"What is the difference between being alive and truly living?"Being alive like everyone else is a great privilege given to us by our creator..Being alive means breathing, surviving, doing your daily routine, being in existence. So what is truly living?Truly living simple means making a difference in life. Here are some most basic questions we should ask ourselves:"why am i here?""what is my purpose in life""who can i love""what can i do for others""who can i reach out to""how can i make a difference"..Think about those questions.I love this childhood song about solomon grundy.Solomon grundy, born on monday, christened on tuesday, married on wednesday, took ill on thursday, grow worse on friday, died on saturday, buried on sunday, this is the end of solomon grundy.Solomon lived a simple life but his life was devoid of meaning..Are you living a life devoid of meaning?Although everyone dies eventually not everyone really lives. Living is giving. We all will die..the goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. Now what are you creating that will live even when we leave?.Like seriously, yesterday(past)I was clever, so I wanted to change the world..But today, I am wise, so I am changing myself.. That's how it begins, it begins within us..by changing ourselves...by changing the world. In a gentle way, YOU can change the world..Make it happen!

THIS IS WHAT I THINK....

Marriage does not guarantee you'll be together forever, it's only paper. It takes love, respect, trust, understanding, friendship and faith in your relationship to make it last.
I'm not an expert in relationships but I think it takes willingness and commitment for any relationship to last....there is no entirely perfect being. So being in love for me is caring so much about someone that you begin to work out the flaws in your personality so that you can be a better person for them ...so you can increase your ability to make them happy...being in love isn't knowing your flaws and expecting your partner to deal with them as proof that they love and want to be with you........that's not love , it's ....something I've not come up with a name for yet......(laughs).that's all

FG -Empowerment Program

The Federal Government of Nigeria has designed the N-Power Programme to drastically reduce youth unemployment. The focus is to provide our young graduates and non-graduates with the skills, tools and livelihood to enable them advance from unemployment to employment, entrepreneurship and innovation. The first phase of N-Power will target Nigeria’s critical needs in education, agriculture, technology, creative, construction and artisanal industries. N-Power is also preparing Nigeria for a global outsourcing push where our young Nigerians can export their services to work on global projects that earn Nigeria, foreign exchange.

God indeed sees and knows all things.

God indeed sees and knows all things.

In as much as we are supposed to be innocent and open minded, we are also cautioned in the way we open up and share with people. there are people who oppose and abuse the sacred doctrine, these are people of exceptional sourness and malignant temper. we are warned to avoid such people. these are people who toil with your values; people addicted to impurity of life; people who are corrupt, polluted and profane..they do not know the value of the gospel...their attitude towards good and holy things is to crush it ...they feel intimidated by the presence of anyone who seems to be better than they are.
we are warned to be cautious and prudent in the way we deal with these people who have lost hope of repentance. in such people, there is danger of sustaining loss. "THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO KEEP ATTACKING YOUR FAITH AND BELIEF",
trying to give them valuable advice might be dangerous because they will rubbish everything trying to give LOGICAL AND IRRATIONAL EXPLANATIONS FOR DIVINE SCRIPTURAL TEACHINGS.  proverbs9vs7 says "he who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, and he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself". In places where our lord Jesus Christ was rejected, he left the place for another. SALVATION IS NOT BY FORCE. such people of public scandal and notorious disrespect for the gospel should not be your intimate friends because they would obliterate your sense of morality and turn you to be like themselves...St paul says "BAD COMPANY CORRUPTS GOOD MANNER"

An average mind it is....trying to make common sense.

LOL...HELP ME..

"Stop living in the past and let the future take care of itself, live in the present ,,bla bla bla"people keep expressing relative meanings in absolute terms.
Present incorporate the accumulation of past moments.
Then, should I be positive among people who choose to
never resolve past issues, in order to clear the present off
this burden?
In other words, are you the generator or the
receiver of negativity? No one lives in the past.
That's an illusion of the mind, supported by the flaws of language.
However, not many people face their past and their past
actions with honesty. That kind of escapism will never
create a future based on present, because present is
merely a momentous link. "Now" is past before I finish this
sentence. And before I finish the next sentence, it was the
future I created from a presenT that is already past.

I DON'T USUALLY DO THIS....

I do not usually do this; but I feel I need to share this:
I'm sharing this because it is thought-provok
ing. I wish you could forward it to every youth known to you, so they can have a piece of it. And let the sleeping giants rise.
"My Dear Nigerian Youths", by Prof. Isa.
I am very angry and that is why I am addressing you.
You are the source of my anger and I want to vent my spleen- maybe not at you directly- but at the arrogance of your ignorance.
You sit in front of a computer and rant all day through social media but with every click, you make money - not for yourself - but for Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook).
With every megabyte of data you spend complaining and maligning, you make stupendous bucks for Etisalat, Glo and Airtel.
Over the next two years, the number of Nigerian millionaires will jump by 47% but most likely you will not be among because you are too busy whining and complaining. And yet about 60% of Nigeria’s 170m population are below 35 years. Oh, what a waste! By the way, Mark Zuckerberg was 19 when he started Facebook.
Africa’s youngest billionaire, Ashish Thakkar, is 31. He escaped from the Rwandan genocide and relocated to Uganda where he started an IT business.
Collin Thornton, who made his millions by fixing bad computers and setting up Dial-a-Nerd, is 35.
Adam Horowitz, an 18-year-old entrepreneur, started 30 websites in 3 years before he became successful.
The only thing you have ever started is an online petition. Have you heard of Jason Njoku? He’s 33 and the founder of Iroko TV. He received $8m investment into his company just a few years ago. What he does? Sharing the same Nollywood films that you spend hours to watch online. He didn’t just hang around waiting for Buhari to make something happen or blaming Jonathan for not making anything happen.
Kamal Budhabhatti was deported from Kenya but while on the flight, he thought of the opportunities in Kenya. He found his way back after 6 months and today his company is valued at $30m. He’s 36.
Have you heard of Chinedu Echeruo? Apple just paid $1b for his app. He’s a Nigerian like you and all he did was attempt to fix a problem. But for you, the only thing you attempt to fix are your nails- and your hairdo! Chinedu moved to New York in 1995 and found it difficult to navigate the city with ease so he developed HopStop to fix the problem.
Stop listing all the problems - we know them already but what are you doing about them?
Awolowo was 37, Akintola was 36, Ahmadu Bello was 36, Tafawa Balewa was 34, Okotie-Eboh was 27 and Enahoro was 27 at the time of independence of Nigeria.
In 1966, the first coup was led by Kaduna Nzeogwu (29) and stopped by Murtala Mohammed (28), TY Danjuma (28), IBB (25), Sanni Abacha (23) and Shehu Yar'adua (23).
It brought in Yakubu Gowon as Head of State at 32 and Olusegun Obasanjo at 29.
You are in your 40s and you still sag your trousers.
Of course, you know Linda Ikeji. You’ve spent hundreds of hours on her blog laughing and commenting while she smiles her way to the bank.
She’s just built a house for her father in the village- just by you clicking on her gossip and sharing.
Your day is not complete without a stop by at her blog. She was as broke as you are but she turned a hobby into a business.
Are you that void of understanding?
You think those politicians have any regard for you?
That is why I referred to the arrogance of your ignorance at the beginning of this diatribe.
You have a false estimation of yourself. You have an over bloated ego.
You are only as good as an election ticket - pure and simple. You are only good to be used and discarded like a used ballot paper. Who keeps a used ballot paper anyway? That is why they only remember you every four years.
The word CHANGE belongs to the masses not to selected few, my friend sent this to me & I couldn't resist the urge not to share this

I AINT JUDGING NO ONE...

Lol, I wanted to be mad at this not because they are gay but because they are "gay & christian" but I found a silver lining. Maybe if there were more "gay christian"-- an oxymoron, I know-- churches then maybe all the gay people who want church weddings(still baffles me that they do considering their lifestyle choice & the church's collective view of it, are they seeking approval or just trying to force it down folks throats?) Now have no reason to go to traditional churches and demand to be wed and cause wahala. Live and let live yeah?

FAITH,GRACE AND GOOD WORKS

You need to get the following clear:
We are saved by GRACE. “For by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:8
We are saved through FAITH. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:8
We are saved for good work, RIGHTEOUS WALKING. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10
If you know the means by which and through which you are saved, but you don’t know for what purpose you are saved, you will miss everything. That is the problem with preachers who preach once saved is always saved, who say you can continue in sin and still claim faith, and the same problem with Christians who claim they are saved while they continue in worldly lifestyles.
Beloved, do you care for genuine salvation that gives victory over sin and that will give you a definite purpose for the rest of your life? Do you want to live by faith in this year and the rest of your life till you see the Blessed Jesus? Then you need to be justified in Jesus Christ.

PERFECT CONTRITION

2Sa 12:13 Then David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die"....this shows that perfect contrition moves the lord . when we are truly sorry for our sins and resolve in our minds to go any length to make sure we don't repeat that particular act. Secondly when we acknowledge our wrong and when we also acknowledge that we are not above sin. The lord is always WILLING..
We all should look in the mirror.

FORMER ARCHBISHOP OF LAGOS HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT REV FATHER MBAKA..

last Thursday, Anthony Cardinal Olubunmi  Okogie, celebrated his 80th birthday with a Holy Mass at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos and reception at the St. Gregory’s College, Obalende, Lagos. In an interview later, the retired Catholic Archbishop of Lagos was speaking ..
On Rev. Father Mbaka’s claim that those who transferred him wanted  him dead as a priest I was shocked when I heard that from his mouth. Nobody will take your life if God did not sanction it. That he was wanted dead, who told him that? Were assassins sent  after him or he was only imagining it or he saw it in a vision as he always says he always sees visions? These are highly contestable and as a priest what will he say about death? Why must he fear about death? And that he was not happy about the transfer, why is he a priest? A priest should be ready to go anywhere. I was in the war front two years after my ordination as a priest. If he was not happy about his transfer, then there is something wrong about his priesthood. His priesthood should come to question

Don't give up....

It's not about what you are and the things you've done...what matters is YOU!
What is left of you?
Have you any God consciousness left? Have you any humanity left? Have you any sense of right left? Do you still feel? Or have you become totally unrepentant about it all?
If you have even a tiny bit of this left, if there's any person still left in that body..
THAT IS CAPITAL! Now Invest!!!

EMOTIONS....

One of the biggest problems every christian faces is the fight to put emotions under and keep passion in check.

A denial of the existence of these tussles and the need for work to aid faith, most times only leads to falling and stumbling at the hurdles posed by human desire.

Keep your attitude in check....

"A man's gift maketh a way for him"
...whilst this statement is very true as scriptures cannot be faulted, it is also important to not that before your gift begins to pave that way for you, your attitude will first introduce you.
Do not be that silly person who always blows his/her with the attitude problem before you even get a chance to show what you can do.

LISTEN!!!

Sometimes the grace we receive does not come as superhuman strength to pull down strongholds or confront our biggest opponents or fears.
Sometimes it's just in a little instruction, a soft whisper of; "Don't go there, don't do that, don't make that call, stay here, go there etc" and the moment we shrug it off, we frustrate that Grace.
When the trouble comes, then we ask where the strength went?

KNOW WHEN TO WALK AWAY....

If you must survive it, then you must shut it out COMPLETELY.
#Ihavelearned that no matter unwilling you are, if you listen to it long enough, you'll begin to tilt towards it. You'll begin to consider it.
...and that's all it really needs before it can become you. Just the consideration.

FOR ALL WOMEN WHO CAN ACCEPT THE TRUTH....

HUSBANDS FOR SALE !A store that sells husbands has justopened in Zimbabwe, where a womanmay go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch ..You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband .On the first floor the sign on the door reads:Floor 1 - These men have jobs and love the Lord. The second floor sign reads:Floor 2 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, and love kids. The third floor sign reads:Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, and are extremely good looking."Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:Floor 4 These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are good looking and help with the housework."Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:Floor 5 These men have jobs, love the Lord, love kids, are gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes tothe sixth floor and the sign reads:Floor 6: You are visitor 4,363,012 to thisfloor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.Thank you for shopping at the HusbandStore. Watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

A young man was lost wandering in a forest, when he cameupon a small house. He knocked on the door and was greeted by an ancient Chinese man with a long, grey beard."I'm lost," said the man. "Can you put me up for the night ?""Certainly," the Chinese man said,"but on one condition. If you so much as lay afinger on my daughter, I will inflict upon you the three worst Chinese tortures known to man." "Ok," said the man, thinking that the daughter must be pretty old as well, and entered the house. Before dinner, the daughter came down the stairs. She was young, beautiful, and had a fantastic figure. She was obviously attracted to the young man since she couldn't keep hereyes off him during the meal.Remembering the old man's warning, he ignored her and went up to bed alone. Butduring he night, he could bear it no longer, and sneaked into her room for a night ofpassion. He was careful to keep everything quiet so the old man wouldn't hear. Near dawn hecrept back to his room, exhausted, but happy. He woke in the morning with the feel of pressure on his chest. Opening his eyes he saw a large rock on his chest with a note on it that read,"Chinese Torture :1 Large rock on chest.""Well, that's pretty crappy," he thought."If that's the best the old man can do then I don't have much to worry about." He picked the boulder up, walked over to the window and threw the boulder out. As he did so he noticed another note on it that read :"Chinese Torture 2 Rock tied to left testicle."In a panic he glanced down and saw the ropethat was already getting close to the end. Figuring that a few broken bones was better than castration, he jumped out of the window after the boulder. As he plummeted downward he saw a large sign on the ground that read,"Chinese Torture 3 Right testicle tied to bedpost."

please help us grow by clicking on "follow"
The worst kind of r/ship is where one is WITH a most faithful partner, yet their minds constantly wonder to the possibility of new adventures. To the faithful party, this is more painful than the sting of death itself.
But God says,
"I was very angry with them, for their hearts were always looking elsewhere instead of up to me, and they never found the paths I wanted them to follow"
Heb 3:10

we can't start now to imagine the magnitude of the love God has for us, it is beyond our mortal brains.
its like when a scientist builds a robot and the robot tries to explain to the scientist how his mind works or try to read his makers mind. how else can this be explained?

Read this...

Conservative preachers are too uncomfortable with letting Christians understand the liberty that Grace brings and understanding it's fullness.
Liberal preachers go too far in emphasizing the fullness of this liberty while paying little or no attention to explain in how that this liberty should be watched lest it be used to please the flesh.
The Holy Spirit however, he brings BALANCE!
Know him!

Good morning..

Yorubas are the problem .........

http://tvcontinental.tv/2016/06/15/yorubas-problem-nigeria-lamido-sanusi-agree/

Food for Hope..

When I started using Biro in my primary school, and I made a mistake, I would try hard to erase it. Sometimes I use chalk, but it later reappears. So I began to use saliva, it worked only to leave holes in my book. My teachers then used to beat me for being outrageously dirty. But all I tried to do was cover my errors. One day, a kind hearted teacher who love me so much called me aside.

"Bobo, anytime you make a mistake, just cross it and move on. Trying to erase it would only damage your book".
"But, I don't want people to see my mistake and laugh at me", I protested.
"Trying to erase it will make more people know about your mess, and the stigma is for life"

Have you made a mistake, cross it and move on.

That is, take your mistakes to the Cross of Calvary, at the feet of Jesus, leave it there and move on.

Don't try to create more irredeemable errors by trying within your power to erase it.

HAZARDS OF PORNOGRAPHY(CONSCIENCE KILLER)

Pornography…..porn as it is known is one of the most downplayed vices in the society today. It is very addictive as well, watching perfect sex scenes in different environments and a variety positions can really be immorally enticing. Apparently, there are more adult movie stars than there are for a normal homemade movie. Though I don’t think it should be referred to as “adult” movie anymore cause its more rampant amongst teens nowadays. Pornography is everywhere, from our neighborhoods, to TV programs, to the internet (the World Wide Web)…… I could go on. And pornography is the cousin to masturbation.
Masturbation is one of the great hazards of pornography, it corrupts the mind and it is a spiritually unhealthy habit which conforms to the perverted attitude of viewing others as mere sex tools for sexual satisfaction. Most rapists are habitual unrepentant masturbators. They are easily seduced and have lost all self control.
Recent news has details of adults sexually abusing little children…..this mostly is as a result of pornography and masturbation. For instance a six years old girl sitting on the laps of a 30 years old masturbator, without doubt he will feel aroused.
How do we fix this? Of cause habits take time to develop and generally, bad habits are easy to pick and difficult to quit…… The first thing needed is God. We can do nothing without God, so we need him to break the chains of pornography and masturbation. Then staying clear of pornography of every kind, especially on the internet, mobile devices, iPads etc
It is also good to know that pornography destroys the conscience. The conscience is there to guide man and call him to order when he is going astray.  It helps to tell right from wrong. The conscience must be nurtured and trained for it to remain effective.     And t
his is how this sh*t works…when you watch pornography, you like what you see, you know it’s wrong but you like it, so you shut up your conscience and you do it again and again ,,,then you continue doing it and you continue shutting up your conscience till it becomes ineffective.
And this is gets to a point when your conscience is entirely dormant, it’s almost like it’s not there anymore and it doesn’t try to stop you anymore.
Then sh*t like same sex marriage, gay community, bestiality now seems cool.
Why not? ...your conscience is dead
Now, as a wise man once said, ”letting the desires of the flesh control you is like letting a child beat you up when you are aware you are stronger”
Never forget that an idle mind is a the devils' mansion.
But what do I know.. It’s just an average mind trying to make common sense.
