Ever since the beginning of the world, God has not stopped resisting the proud and justifying the humble.The justified person may be the worst sinner and the resisted person may be the most righteous person.It does not matter.what God is looking for is your humility. Humility will take you to the heights of greatness.
Only a humble person will cry out in repentance each time they sin. A humble person will admit their mistakes and beg God for mercy.but the proud think they are too Good for God to refuse.
The proud thinks that God is owing them; they think that their personal efforts won them salvation.
Humility is to be consciously dependent on God and to recognize your constant need of H
im.
When you acknowledge that your gifts and talents are from God,you are being humble.that way you are making your way towards greatness.Humility makes you to give God thanks for the successes in your life and to admit He is the source of them all. humility is not a sign of timidity,fear or weakness;it is rather an indication that you know where your strength lies and that you are not taking the glory of God.the reward you get for being humble is greatness.you'd receive God's help when you are humble. James 4:6 says,"God resists the proud ,but gives grace to the humble"
