It is very easy to condemn people when they are not doing very well,but when it comes to your own case,we want to be excused.when those in government positions are not paying workers,everyone screams and curse them.Why? The reason is that it is a devilish attitude to refuse to pay someone who has worked for it,when the money is there.But why are workers not being paid their due? why are many people being underpaid? why are people who have earned recognition and awards left empty handed? Proverbs 3 vs 27 addresses this issue and this message is not only for the government officials,it is for everyone.Give to each person their due ,both in justice and charity without delay. if people's money are in your hands,don't delay it on the ground of hatred for them or with intention of transacting with it. it should escape your mind that it is a privilege for you to be in that position,where people are looking up to you.if you are in a position of authority,don't maltreat people who are working with you. Don't treat people as if they have no hope. Don't handle human beings like animals.Don't refuse to help from those who ask of you,if you can help. Nothing is permanent you know? if its in your power to help someone,maybe to get a job or a connection, don't hesitate to do that,if the person deserves it. Tribal sentiments or animosity for the offenses of the past should not be a reason you are withholding that good you should show to someone.
you are merely a caretaker of God's blessings;the blessings do not belong to you. you are a caretaker of God's mercy,of God's favours , of God's help. release it to those who deserve it.if you don't ,you are offending God.if you don't, you close heaven's gate of blessing against yourself. You are not only hated by man but also incur God's disapproval.
